Hello everyone!

Just wanted to drop in and say hi to everyone in CD. Its been a bit over a year since Gennevra and myself found life taking up all of our time. Since then we went to Hawaii and got married, got a new mans best friend named Ookla (yes from Thundarr the Barbarian) and I am on first shift after 10.5 years on second shift.

We miss you guys alot. Thought of Firm the other night when the Olympics came on. Always think of Fedi and Noone in Minnesota. I see Peas, Meth, Agar, Delling, Arao, Poker to name a few. Where is freaking Laedoc??

Glad to see CD is still going strong. You guys rock and keep kicking arse kk?

When i try running ventrilo on my 2nd PC if fails with the following error message;

C:\Program Files\Ventrilo\Ventrilo.exe

Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file.  You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

Unistalling and reinstalling does not correct the issue.
I'm running as administrator, Windows XP.
This is the PC my so usually uses but claims to not have done anything,

No, I'm not changing operating systems!
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going for my last run at the fishing contest this sunday at 14:00 server time in STV.
Seeking guildy support to run interference to keep Horde away.

Well the deployment is winding down and I should be home by December. woot!

I'm looking forward to logging back in and getting some game time in, but I'm not sure where to focus my efforts. Before I left I was working on getting a DK to 80, I got to like 76 or something. Araolath is still sitting at like 72 or so.

I know its really just a personal choice but I was hoping to get a few opinions based on the current state of the game and the guild. Should I try to get the Pally or DK to 80 and geared up, or work on the Hunter or another Alt?

with the time demands of the job and RL I'm sure I'll still be a 20hr/week or so casual gamer but I'd like to find a way to pitch in if I can. I also get the feeling that DKs have been retuned since the WotLK launch and it looks like 3.2 is going to retweak several classes.

Any input is appreciated, and I hope you are all getting ready to have a great Thanksgiving!

Blizzard sent me a 10 day trial of WOTLK so i'm going to be on for at least he next 10 days. I'll probably be playing a DK names Xikar as I have always wondered about them. Anyway. i hope to see some of the older CDers online as I have missed you all very much.

Well, its been a long year. Its hot, theres lots of sandstorms, we've gone on a ton of raids, but there hasnt been any damn loot!

I got some downtime and finally read up on CD and the game in general. Wow, ToC and T9 gear, last I remember they only had T5!

Hope you guys are all doing well and having a blast with the new content. I'll be coming home next year and I plan to eat, sleep, and game till my eyes bleed.

Hey, don't know how many of you out there are big readers, but I just finished a couple good series that I highly recommend.

The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks, about a Wetboy. Assassins have targets, Wetboys just have deaders...their targets are as good as dead.

Also, The First Law Trilogy by Joe Abercrombie, which follows a noble, a torturer, and a bad-ass barbarian.

Both excellent reads and well worth it. Looking for any other suggestions too. I was a fan of all the Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance books growing up, as well as Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan, and of course King's Dark Tower. So...any recommendations?

So in my freetime I thought it would be fun to take some webdesign / database design courses as a creative outlet for myself.... I'm now kicking myself rather thoroughly as database design/SQL is rather challenging for my poor accounting brain.

I'm struggling with the following two questions (table structure attached in picture) and wonder if any SQL experts are kicking around that can help me with them. (Bry's heard me cry for too long and has given up on me). Ahem -- Meth? :)

TABLES: Table Structure

Question 1: Create a trigger to only allow orders of products that have a units in stock >= Units ordered.

Question 2: Create a stored procedure that deletes those customers that have no orders

I think I am close on the 2nd question, but I dont want to post anything for fear of biasing the answer.

Any thoughts would be helpful,

Like every other bloody weekend, We get hit with a snowstorm. Anyone else feeling the winter rage?
As I peer out the windows I can only see for about 20 yards. "ARRG" Makes driving around a major problem.
Not the mention more dangerious then normal. Sorry ... i just needed to Vent this.
